Directions to Green's Farm Garnet Mine
Heading West on I-84 take exit 14 towards South Britain
turn right onto Lakeside Road/CT172, go through intersection
then turn left onto Spruce Brook Road,
**note Spruce Brook Road turns right at the stop sign,
you'll also see a sign pointing to a local plant nursery,
don't go straight onto Stillson Road**
turn left onto Purchase Brook Road,
then right onto Brown Brook Road,
turn right onto Perkins Road.
Go straight onto dirt road and park at foot of driveway.
Do not turn onto Garnet road, you'll have gone too far...
Takes 20-25 mins from highway to site.

Follow directions above for rest of drive.
The fee is $5.00 a car, left under mat on house doorstep.
Bring your best climbing shoes some areas are quite precarious.
What can only be described as a sink hole, from previous commercial mining,
is very deep, but there are some less dangerous, flatter areas.
